When I moved back to Phoenix a couple years ago, I knew it was going to be hard to find a good barber. After all, I moved here from Seattle were barbers are king (not tooting Seattle's horn but the facts are...Seattle's got some crazy good barbers). Anyhow, on my first venture out, I stumbled across Paradise Valley Barber Shop on Tatum and Shea where George used to work. Wasn't expecting much but HOLY COW! HIT THE JACKPOT ON MY FIRST TRY! George is an amazing barber--like totally amazing! In the two years that I've been here I've changed my hairstyle 3 times and he has kept up with each one. He tailors his cuts to what you want and delivers with the skill and precision of a master barber. My husband and I both to go George and we wish him success now that he's branched out into his own space; Elegant Gents Barbershop. We were there this weekend and that place is super nice and clean.
